Our Biodegradable Dnetal Floss Pick handles are made from Corn Starch PLA (Polylactic Acid) and PBAT (Polybutylene Adipate Terephthalate). They are also PFAS and BPA free!

• PLA is a type of bioplastic produced from corn that has the big advantage of being able to degrade to nontoxic substances without creating microplastic particles.

• PBAT is a biodegradable random copolymer that when buried in soil, breaks down completely and leaves no toxic residues behind.

Ultra sturdy and thin thread that is made from UHMWPE (Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) which is one of the strongest fibers in the world.

To dispose: Pull or cut floss string away from handle and dispose or recycle. Place handle in backyard compost.
