"Gusher" style pads are tailored so that the top layers of fabric are cut and sewn in a way that each row will fray, but not completely unravel. This method is called "faux-chenilling", which is commonly used with certain styles of blankets. The open frayed rows are excellent gush/clot absorbers!

Your gusher pad will come "un-prepped", meaning it won't be frayed until you do your initial/pre-wearing wash. Once your gusher has been through a few more washes the fray will open up to it's full potential!

Materials & Core information:

Your "Gusher" Pad will consist of the "topper" layer of Cotton Spandex (95% Cotton, 5% Spandex), with 4 layers of Cotton Flannel (100% Cotton) that are exposed through the cuts in the fabric.

Underneath the Gusher Topper is a **NEW ALL HEMP/COTTON CORE** suspended by a very thin layer of 100% Cotton Muslin. 

Heavy cores have 1 layer of Hemp Fleece (55% Hemp, 45% Organic Cotton), while Supers and Ultras have 2 layers.

"Backer" Fabric that sits against your underwear: Black liquid resistant Oeko-Tex certified Dintex Softshell Fleece (100% Polyester)

Heavies & Supers are adjustable with 2 socket snaps to choose between an approximate 3" and 2.75" width.

*NEW* ULTRA Heavy Wides are adjustable with 2 socket snaps to choose between an approximate 3.5" and 3.75" width.
